This driver has a 120V standard input. This driver has a 24VDC output and is rated for damp and wet locations. The driver is a magnetic dimmable power supply, compatible with MLV dimmers. Before proceeding with installation, verify that the driver’s label indicates the correct input voltage and wattage for your application. Ensure that the wire markings correspond to the wiring diagram provided below. If the product exhibits any visible damage, refrain from installing it.
Input Connections and Grounding
Begin by removing the cover from the wiring compartment and the necessary plastic knockouts to create an entry point for the input wires. With the power switched off, guide the input wires through the knockout hole, connecting the live wire to the black (L) terminal and the neutral wire to the white (N) terminal. Use only UL-listed wire nuts and connectors that are appropriate in size and type for all wire connections. It is essential that the driver case is grounded according to N.E.C. standards.
Output Connections
Next, remove the cover from the output wiring compartment and the necessary knockouts to create an opening. With the power still off, feed the light fixture wires through the knockout and connect them to the driver: attach the positive wire to the red (+) terminal and the negative wire to the black (-) terminal.
Mounting
Choose a location that can adequately support the weight of the driver. Utilize the keyholes to securely mount the driver case using appropriate screws.
